Breathe

Yesterday the governor gave news that schools would be closed for the remainder of the school year. In these unsure times where everything seems isolated and the fear of the unknown can be overwhelming we have to find the invitation in it all.

The invitation to rely on God like never before. We were promised His spirit and by His spirit shall we live. We are hurting, all of us, and we have the opportunity to be there for eachother… From a distance but no less intimately. This is the time. The time to reconnect, a time to rest, reset, and be renewed. In times of uncertainty God’s word remains forever. In seasons where jobs are not guaranteed and safety does not seem secured we can hold tight to truth. By immersing ourself in the Word of God we armor ourselves to fight the fear, the unknown, and the uncertain because we are standing on God who is enough.

Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
John 20:22 NLT

Take a deep breath, receive His spirit, over and over again until it overflows and fills up your homes, families, and hearts. Reach out. If you are feeling isolated, alone, or scared send a message, write a post, and take a deep breath. We are all feeling the pressure but we don’t have to be quiet so alone. Open your windows, feel the fresh air, throw a dance party in the living room, have a quiet reading time, get back into poetry, create just because, and never, ever forget what is going right. If it is not good it is not over, friends.

I am praying over each and everyone of you. Please stay safe and please don’t hesitate to reach out! Love you all ❤️
